Effective date: 16 July 2026 · Version 2
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the activities that are not allowed on the LoftPress API platform operated by LOFT PRESS LTD (England and Wales, no. 16676296). It applies alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Breach of this AUP can lead to throttling, suspension or termination.
1. Absolute prohibitions
You must not use the Service to, or to help anyone else to:
- Break any applicable law, regulation, court order or contract.
- Commit fraud, deception, market manipulation, tax evasion or money laundering.
- Evade sanctions or export-control obligations, or provide the Service to sanctioned individuals or entities.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, cryptominers, phishing kits or command-and-control infrastructure.
- Send spam or bulk unsolicited messages; harvest email addresses or credentials.
- Steal credentials, run credential-stuffing, session-hijacking or account-takeover activities.
- Conduct surveillance, stalking or harassment of any individual.
- Publish, promote or facilitate content that is unlawfully discriminatory, hateful, harassing or defamatory.
- Dox individuals — reveal or aggregate their personal data to intimidate, harm or expose them.
- Facilitate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitation of minors — such activity is reported to authorities.
- Facilitate weapons manufacture, terrorism, extremist violence or other physical harm to people.
- Scrape data in a way that violates law or third-party terms, or bypass access controls of any system.
- Bypass, disable or attempt to circumvent LoftPress rate limits, quotas, credit deductions or authentication.
- Share, sell, sublicense or resell LoftPress API keys, credits or accounts.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, except to the extent this cannot be prohibited by law.
- Attack, probe, scan, load-test or penetration-test any LoftPress system without our prior written permission.
- Send abusive bulk or automated traffic designed to degrade the Service for other users.
- Present LoftPress output as financial, legal, tax, medical or investment advice, or use it as the sole basis for a decision with high-risk consequences for a person.
- Violate the privacy of third parties or process personal data through the Service without a lawful basis.
2. Fair use
LoftPress endpoints are metered per plan. Fair use means staying within the requests-per-second, monthly-request and API-key limits of your plan, and using credits only for legitimate consumption on your own account. Persistent bursts that exhaust rate limits across shared infrastructure will be throttled.
3. Monitoring and enforcement
We monitor only what is proportionate to protect the Service and its users: aggregate traffic patterns, authentication events, rate-limit hits, error rates, request metadata (endpoint, timestamp, IP, user-agent, request ID). We do not claim to inspect the content of your request payloads unless we are legally required to, or unless we are investigating a specific, credible abuse report.
If we suspect a breach we may throttle, suspend or terminate access. Where practicable we will contact you first. Serious cases (CSAM, credible physical threats, active attacks) are actioned immediately and reported to the authorities as required.
4. Reporting abuse
Report abuse or a security concern to support@loftpress.shop. Include: the affected endpoint or resource, the abusive account/key if known, timestamps and any evidence you have. We treat reports as confidential and respond within within 3 business days.
5. Appeals
If your account has been suspended, contact support@loftpress.shop with your account email and the reason you believe the action was mistaken. We review appeals in a proportionate way and respond within 3 business days.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP to reflect new abuse patterns or legal requirements. Material changes are announced on the Status page and shown here with a new version number.
